Marius Vizer, president of the International Judo Federation, will arrive today in Havana, where he will serve a working agenda until February 28.
The National Institute of Sports, Physical Education and Recreation (INDER by its Spanish acronym) said that Vizer will come next Thursday to the capital of Cuba to exchange with local authorities on issues related to the 2016 Havana Grand Prix.
This event will take place in January next year and will grant points for the world ranking of this martial art towards the 2016 Summer Olympics.
He also announced a press conference that will offer on Friday the Austrian executive of Romanian origin, who in 2014 visited Havana, which hosted in June this year a Grand Prix based at the Sports City Coliseum, with the participation of 297 athletes from 40 nations.
