Jeffrey DeLaurentis, current head of mission as Charge d'Affaires, in an interview that presents today the digital site OnCuba Magazine speaks of an embassy with less guards and freedom of movement that the Americans hoped to work in Cuba. This was an issue that, according to the diplomat, focused discussions between the two governments.
"We will be able to better inform American citizens about what they could find if they come to the country," DeLaurentis told journalist Barbara Maseda.
The conversation touched essential points as the granting of visas, to which DeLaurentis responded that "We do not foresee any change in this respect. The criteria used to grant visas to visit or travel definitive are the same that are used worldwide and we have no plans to change them."
