A possible visit of US President Barack Obama to Cuba would consolidate his new policy to achieve the normalization of relations with the island and make it irreversible, experts said.
"I think President Barack Obama will visit Havana before his term ends to seal his policy towards Cuba," Cuban-American lawyer Jose Pertierra told Notimex.
Pertierra legally represented Elián González and the government of Venezuela in its attempt to extradite Luis Posada Carriles.
The lawyer, specialist in immigration issues, said Obama's visit to the island most probably will be next year and with it his policy to seek normalization of relations with Cuba would be "irreversible".
