The cruise activity, important sector in the country's tourism development has had an increase since 2012 that could have been greater if we were not under the inhumane measures imposed on us by the US economic embargo and which substantially affects the maritime activity.
Norberto Perez del Toro, CEO of Aries Transportes SA announced that during the years 2012, 2013 and 2014 has been a steady progress of this activity. In the past year more than 35 000 passengers landed at our terminals and points of cruise operations.
From January to May 2015 there have been 174 scales with a movement of 62 183 passengers.
Havana Cruise Terminal stands out in the Caribbean as one of the best structure and function of both its hydro conditions, and its location next to Old Havana.
