Johnny Ventura, 75 years, nicknamed El Caballo Mayor, bowed his "noble" title and took over the hundreds of people who on Saturday went to Heredia Theater, and the millions across the screen, appreciated the King of Merengue in its entire dimension.
For closure and after almost an hour and a half of contagious show, Johnny recalled that prodigious stage of his career where Capullo y Sorullo and Patacón Pisao didn´t stopped requested at the Cuban radio stations and in carnivals of every town of the island. He also announced two presentations in Havana on July 10 and 11. Surely the impact created in the eastern city also is constant motivation to return to Santiago de Cuba at the end of the year, as he promised.
