Cuban Deputy Foreign Minister: Cuba and the European Union are decided to conclude the agreement as soon as possible

Abelardo Moreno, Cuban Deputy Foreign Minister, said today in Brussels, Belgium, that the position of the European Union (EU) regarding the island evolves positively, according to Prensa Latina news agency.
For us it is of particular interest the position taken by the EU in regards to the economic, commercial and financial embargo imposed by the United States , he stated at a news conference.
Moreno said he expects that the documents of the Summit of the Community of Latin American and Caribbean States (CELAC by its Spanish acronym) and the EU, to be held on June 10 and 11, will include the European vision regarding the siege against Cuba .
The Cuban official recalled that on June 15 and 16 the Belgian capital will also host the fourth round of negotiations on the Agreement on Political Dialogue and Cooperation between the EU and Cuba.
We hope to conclude in this round the chapter on cooperation and entering into a deeper negotiation of issues related to trade and political dialogue, he added.
