Cuba and Lebanon seek to promote economic exchange
Cuba and Lebanon held today in Havana, the first aimed to cement economic and commercial relationship up to its strong links of friendship and cooperation business forum.
The meeting will take place tomorrow at the Hotel Nacional de Cuba, brings together representatives of twenty Lebanese firms, members of the Council of Businessmen, an initiative created last January to promote bilateral economic exchange.
The mission will hold talks with Cuban authorities and entrepreneurs to identify new business opportunities and investment that contribute to the purposes of both governments, as revealed during the visit to the Island of Gebran Bassil, Lebanese Foreign Minister.
During the two days of the Forum, visitors will learn the export portfolio of the island, and the projects to be offered in key sectors such as tourism, biopharmaceutical, petrochemical, renewable energy, agriculture, and those identified for the Special Development Zone Mariel.
