Iberia will resume today its flights to Havana (Cuba), suspended two years ago, a route that will have five weekly direct frequencies -Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday and Sundays- from June. The recovery of this symbolic route, announced at the end of January by Luis Gallego, chief executive of Iberia, comes at an ideal time because of the restoration of relations between the US and Cuba.
