Yoenis Cespedes hit a grand slam in his first game with Detroit, Ian Kinsler added a three-run homer and the Tigers trounced 15-2 on Tuesday to the Baltimore Orioles at the start of the exhibition games in the majors, reports the AP.

Cespedes disappeared in the fourth inning, the Tigers peeling lead 11-0. Detroit scored the Cuban in a trade with Boston during the winter break.

After a disappointing year, the Dominican Baltimore starter Ubaldo Jimenez gave up six runs in an inning and a third. He gave two walks, two hits and struck also wrong to make a shot.
