Cyclists Frank Consuegra and Agustín Martínez were in the first and second place, respectively, in the seventh stage of the National Classic Guantánamo-Havana.

The journey of 147 kilometers was conquered in the stretch of Santi Spiritus by both cyclists with first place for Martinez, while the third fought the sprint, Onel Santa Clara and Javier Revilla and the latter suffered a precipitous decline that took him away from fair, though without danger to life after being treated at the provincial hospital.

Just as expected, the final leg was played in Cabaiguán where Consuegra was ahead of Martinez, although the first suffered from a strong stomach upset. In that order, entered a final judgment stripe with Onel Santa Clara in third.

The National Cycling Classic has met emotions, well attended and much rivalry among competitors remaining 77 - 83- ripped, so hopefully surprises and changes in the overall standings in the remaining five days.
