The male and female Cuban archery team achieved their qualification for the Pan American Games in Toronto-2015. Men earned third and women fourth place in Continental Championship held in Argentina, positions that allowed tickets to the event to be held next year in Canada.

Teams from Colombia, United States, Chile and Mexico also achieved classification. Colombians dominated the podium in both sexes, highlighting the performance of females Natalia Sanchez and Ana María Rendón.

At the individual level the best of Cubans was the veteran Juan Carlos Stevens to score 655 points in two rounds at 70 meters and take possession of the sixth place in a classification ranking dominated by Mexican Luis Alvarez.

The others in contention were Cubans Hugo Franco (650-8th.) and Jaime Quintana (643-11nth.) because Adrian Bridges was only 624 points that sent the 27th place.

Lorisglenis Ojea and Maydenia Sarduy were the most outstanding females with 601 points each, and 15 and 16 places in that order.

Larissa Pagan accumulated 604 units for 17th place, and juvenile Lissette Amador accumulated 547 valid for 26.
