On Saturday October 11 concluded in Havana II Panamerican Volleyball Cup U23 with a match between the teams of Cuba and Mexico. Local achieve gold medal and the first world ticket in after beating their opponent 3-0.

Just get to the Cup final both teams were qualified for the world championship of that category in 2015, Cubans were victorious undefeated with partial 25-23, 25-14, 25-23.

The leading scorer was Alexis Garay from Mexico, who accumulated 21 points, including 17 in the attack, one block and three in service. For Cuba stood, Osniel Rendón (13-8-0-5), Livan Osoria (11-5-5-1), Lazaro Fundora (11-11-0-0) and Osmani Uriarte (8-7-0-1), while Mexico also highlighted by Julian de Jesús Duarte (8-6-2-0).
  
Cubans remained unbeaten throughout the event, as in the preliminary stage -all against all- swept 3-0 the five participating teams, with the first against Trinidad and Tobago, which was followed by Guatemala, El Salvador, Republic Dominican and Mexico.

The third place was occupied by the Dominican Republic that beat Guatemala 3-0, who held so fourth. Fifth and sixth were left Trinada and Tobago and El Salvador respectively, with victory first over the second.
