The Cuban Ivan Pedroso, Olympic and world champion long jumper, now serves as coach of French triple jump champion Teddy Tamgho. The news was confirmed in Luzhniki during the world championships in Moscow.

Pedroso lives in Spain, not in France as many thought when he left Cuba. Took several months traveling in Europe, he was even a few days in Havana, as part of a plan of relaxation for his athlete, who was having a difficult time.

Teddy, indoor world record (17.92), sportingly is not going through a good time; he has been banned for one year by the French Athletics Federation for being absent several antidoping controls rigor. Earlier, he had also been suspended for hitting a female athlete in the camp.
