The Chinese company Fuyong Acrobatics Art Troupe returns to Havana to perform in this edition of the International Summer Circus Festival Circuba 2013, which is scheduled from July 16 to 21.

In 2011 and 2012, that acrobatic group won the Grand Prix in the competition held each year in this capital and considered the bridge of circus in America.

Fuyong will offer an act of multiples contortion and other in which they mix their high human towers with dances with hoops, according to a statement released by the group.

At Karl Marx Theater, Trompoloco Circus and Lazaro Pena Theater will be the venues of Circuba in Havana.

For the first time, the capital will share the venue with the central province of Ciego de Avila, where awards and closing ceremony will take place on July 24, 27 and 28.

At the same time will take place the International Clown Contest Erdwin Fernandez in Memoriam, from July 17 to 21.

Circuba started as festival in 1981 and reached its peak since 2007. This 12 edition is dedicated to the 45 years of institutionalization of the Cuban circus.
