Masterly lectures by recognized experts, exhibitions of medical equipment and a round of negotiations will be part of the 1st Scientific Day of Technological Exchange about Health between Ecuador and Cuba.

Eugenio Espejo Conference Center in Quito will host the event, which will be held from May 28-31, organized by the Chamber of Commerce and the Public Health Ministry of Cuba, together with the embassy in Ecuador.

An extensive delegation from the island is expected to participate in the event, headed by the Public Health Minister Roberto Morales and President of the Chamber of Commerce Estrella Madrigal, together with 56 health professionals, organizers reported.

The intention of these events is to continue passing on the Cuban experiences regarding medical services and health equipment, in the interest of consolidating bilateral relations, which have increased, and to strengthen them even more, they said.

The round of negotiations will be held on May 30 in the afternoon and the Cuban Chamber of Commerce and ENFARMA an Ecuatorian company, called the health business and biopharmaceutical sectors to establish exchange relations.

Ecuador's exhibition will be about different spheres of joint work, as the biotechnology sector, especially aimed to cancer treatment.

Entrance is free for all those interested in the exhibitions, lectures or business meetings.

The organizers highlighted that the attendees will be given a participation certificate.
