Famed Italian composer and singer Zucchero returns to Cuba on December 8 for a concert and present his latest album, recorded in Havana with Cuban musicians.

 Speaking to Italian newspaper La Stampa, the author of popular songs like "I do not ask the moon," said the concert is a project cherished by him for a long time, in which he will share with figures and groups nationally and international recognized such as Omara Portuondo and Los Van Van.

 He said that during the mega concert, which will last about two hours, he will perform some of his hits with his accompanying musicians, and it will as naturally stage the premises of the Instituto Superior de Arte in Havana.

 The outdoor show will be broadcast on a deferred basis by Italian television during the Christmas programming, Zucchero added.

 Ballads and dance themes are part of his its latest album, titled "Cuban session", which contains seven hits in his repertoire with new arrangements, and six other songs, including versions and unreleased tracks.

 Produced by Don Was, who was responsible for the previous work of the Italian artist (Chocabeck-2009), The Cuban session was presented Tuesday in Italy, and has a version for the international market and a special edition on DVD, which contains a video and pictures of the recording in Havana.

 Adelmo Fornaciari, Zucchero´s real name-which means sugar, is considered one of the greatest contemporary composers and singers from Italy, besides being the most international artist in this country and the author of numerous successes known in Europe, Latin America and some Anglo-Saxon countries.
