Cuba is country with several tourist destinations. Its rich culture, the natural attractions, the history and its wonderful people make the Caribbean island one the most amazing for relaxing holidays. Cuba will soon be host of the third annual International Fishing Tournament Jardines del Rey, known as "Big Game Trolling", from 15 to 20 October.

Key Guillermo, an islet located to the north of the province of Ciego de Avila, in central Cuba, will host the event. Its geographical location facilitates the programs, which are related to sailing and diving and other practices. In the event, the second largest of its kind in the country, men and women may participate, professionals or amateurs, and people related to the activity of fishing. The All Inclusive Cuba hotels managed by the International Meliá chain, in the Jardines del Rey, will provide preferential prices for the occasion.

The Jardines del Rey tourist destination has some 5000 rooms, more than a dozen hotels and is located in the fifth position among the Cuban tourist destinations. The program includes four days of fishing that will be organized according to the tag and release method. Besides, the jury will follow the rules of International Game Fish Association, said an official of the Ministry of Tourism in the territory.

The competition will take place in the Old Channel of Bahamas, in an area very close to the Key Coco and Key Guillermo, both belonging to the Jardines del Rey archipelago. The fishing tournament is known for its nautical potential, and the predominance of dissimilar pelagic species that promise an active schedule.

Only crews of over 15 years of experience, and with yachts of 33 of 52 feet may participate in the International Fishing Tournament Jardines del Rey.
