Experts from several countries will present medical novelties at the 23rd International Congress on Orthopedics, to be held in Havana on September 24-29.

Professor Rodrigo Alvarez Cambras, president of the organizing committee, told ACN that the meeting will favor future cooperation and multilateral development programs with other nations.

Alvarez Cambras, also a physician and director of the Frank Pais International Scientific-Orthopedic Complex, informed about the fourth post-congress meeting of specialists related to Orthopedics, which will take place October 1-5.

The meeting will also favor exchanges of experiences and knowledge between nurses, orthopedic technicians and physical therapists.

The capital’s ORTOP Conference Center will be the venue of the 3rd Cuba-Mexico Meeting and the First Cuban-Argentinean Symposium of this specialty, which will bring together professionals in this field to update concepts related to orthopedic complexities.

Experts from Spain, France, Japan, Belgium, Mexico, Panama, the Dominican Republic, the United States and Cuba, among other nations, will present the latest advances in this field, in which the island is a place of international reference due to its results in research and development, and in the application of exclusive techniques for the treatment of bone complaints.
