Renowned popular Cuban musician, Paulo Fernandez Gallo, better known as Paulo FG, will hold a concert at Havana’s Karl Marx Theatre on Saturday, September 1st at 9pm.

The show will be celebrate the 25th anniversary of a prolific artistic career and the 20 years of his band La Elite. After being away from Cuban stages for some time – his last concert was at the Astral Theatre along with MaycoD´Alma on Mother´s Day - this will be the perfect opportunity for him to remember some of his emblematic and popular tunes throughout 25 years of artistic life.

On this special occasion, Paulo y su Élite will be accompanied by a group of people who are cultivators of “timba,” “salsa” and “son.” The band, which has been set up following his style and guidance, is named La Nueva Élite Timbera and is made by Alexander Abreu, Mayito Rivera, Elaín, Tania Pantoja, Leonardo Garrido and Laritza Bacallao, among others.

The show will be recorded as a CD – DVD, which will be entitled 20 Aniversario, and will be produced by EGREM. The album will also include a tour of his artistic career.

In July the renowned singer and musician had a special concert as part of the activities of the Cubasoy Arts Festival and also made presentations in popular activities in eastern Cuba, while on the international scene, he had concerts in the United States, Mexico and Angola.

He is famous in the Cuban music world for his particular way of making popular music. He is also an excellent ballad singer, has thirteen record productions and received several awards and recognitions.
