Filled with hopes and in early appreciation for Cuba, Nine youth from India, Bhutan and Sri Lanka, who will study Medicine in that Caribbean country met with Cuban diplomats in New Delhi to learn about their future adoptive homeland.

In New Delhi, three Indians accompanied by their parents, relatives and friends and two students from Bhutan with fellow diplomats held an interview with Ambassador Abelardo Cueto, who gave them some useful advice from the new life they are about to start.

Meanwhile, in Colombo, Cuban Ambassador Nirsia Castro welcomed four Sri Lankans youth winners of medical scholarships among 50 contenders.

At the meetings, the students and their parents voiced their appreciation for the Cuban governmentâ�Ös grant and assured they will do all in their power to profit from such magnificent opportunity.
