William Levy showed he’s more than a pretty face Monday night on Dancing With the Stars, as he suited up and fine tuned his ballroom skills with a near perfect Vietnamese waltz that left the crowd in ruckus.

After last week’s comments from the judges, Carrie Ann Inaba’s in particular, about “lacking content” and substance in his routines, Levy brought his ‘A’ game to the ballroom.

“She was right,” Levy said. “They haven’t seen my best dance. I’m more than just a pretty face,” added the Cuban telenovela actor.

Still, Levy felt this week’s ‘classical music’ theme was certainly a challenge.

“I’m not a classical guy!” Levy said. “I was born and raised in Cuba. In the streets. How is that classiscal?” the actor asked himself.

His dance partner Cheryl Burke made vowed that they would “have enough content” for the judges to be content. She also tweaked the dance routine, so it would not make Levy’s ankle injury worse.

“She makes me do crazy things,” Levy said joking about the difficult routine that Burke put together.

Once Levy and Burke performed, as Opera singer Jackie Evancho sang, it was clear the audience and the judges were satisfied with the outcome.

“That is what I was looking for,” said a smiling Inaba. “True content. True dancing.”
“You do something that is so magnificent,” she added. “You find the story [and] you bring the romance to life,” said Inaba, who last week told Levy she knows he is “a beautiful dancer.”

Even professional dancer, and the toughest judge Len Goodman was happy with Levy’s waltz.

“I wasn’t exactly transported to Viena,” teased Goodman. “It was close, I was in Austria.”

Bruno Tonioli, who has made it clear he is one of Levy’s fans, also gave the Cuban stud some serious credit for his performance.

“William, you have captured the purity and the ethereal of the song,” Tonioli said.

“What I saw was vulnerability. You put your heart and soul to it. Like if you were dancing for your mom, only the way a professional dancer can do. That was beautiful.”

Levy and Burke ranked on top of the leaderboard this week with a total score of 27 points (out of 30).

“He’s a warrior!” said Burke excitedly.

Levy was please with his dance as well.

“We did it.”
