Could be Mariela Castro the next President of the Cuban Republic?

Cubans media is suffering a sudden fever to address social issues as the threat of domestic violence or a claim to the role of women in society.
Some of this issues are fully within the competence of Mariela Castro,who until now, was best known for his advocacy of gay rights.
Some political scientists are already talking about the start of a campaign to place Mariela as a candidate for eventual power succession. Up to now she is a figure well placed to run as a candidate, having developed a profile of strong leadership who faces strong social issues far removed from the frivolity that have shown other Castro's family members of the same generation.
It's a possibility that can not be ruled, because although there are more applicants with the surname Castros to qualify for the presidency of Cuba, so far, the only one who seemed to be in the battle is his brother Alexander. However, Mariela appears with advantage due to her modern image.
