He added that this fourth edition, based on the fairgrounds in the city of Holguin, visualized mainly the impact of science and innovation in the economy, society and the environment and dedicated to the 50th anniversary of the establishment of the Academy of Sciences of Cuba.

The proposal was also 15 lectures, a round table devoted to advances in public health and panels devoted to tourism, sugar production, culture, science Holguin visibility and impact studies of hazard, vulnerability and risk .
The delegate stressed that CITMA Health sector was the largest generator of scientific impacts the previous year in areas such as pediatric surgery, transplantation, oncology, laparoscopic surgery and Parkinson's.
