The central Cuban province of Ciego de Avila is the seat since 1996 erotic film samples. This year the organizers stated that their main goal is to educate the public about this scam of art. "Room in Rome" a romantic drama directed by Julio Medem of Spain, was the film that opened the day on Saturday.

The most recent proposal of Medem, which "reflects on the hidden feelings and love without limits", "was chosen to inaugurate" the event, taking place in Ciego de Avila, 400 km east of Havana, said the organizing committee , quoted by Prensa Latina.

Starring Elena Anaya Spanish (Alba) and Russian Jarovenko Natasha (Natasha), the film tells the passion that erupts between the two women as they share a hotel room in Rome, before returning to their countries.

According to Prensa Latina, until Wednesday the exhibition will showcase a dozen films, including "Elvis and Madonna" (Brazil), "Aime and Jaguar" (Germany), "Schoolgirls" (Argentina), "Blue Velvet" (Great Britain) and the Franco-Spanish co-production "That Obscure Object of desire."

As part of the sample, which "is a way to educate the population" and remove "taboos" according to its organizers, the conference will also perform "Between boundless passion and eroticism shocking," dedicated to the work of filmmaker Brazilian Tinto Brass.
