Silvia Alberti researcher at the Universidad Interamericana de Puerto Rico, gave Marti Studies Center (CEM) the prospectus José Martí, said a policy of this institution.

The material in digital form, contains an analysis of the importance of archives specializing in books during the nineteenth century, the library director of the CMS, Yudeysi Perez.

According to Perez, the booklet contains the names of several personalities and resources invested in terms of development of these institutions, some of which are frequented by Martí (1853-1895) for his journalistic work in New York and consular.

The material, the co-ordinator for Marti chair at the University of Puerto Rico, was presented in the context of the First International Workshop on Special Libraries which met in Havana with the presence of delegates from five countries.

According Yudeysi Perez, CEM library has some copies available to those interested in learning more about the subject.

The purpose of the collection of the institution he heads, is considered perhaps the most comprehensive collection in the world of Marti's work.

Perez reported that holds the various editions of the complete works of José Martí, from the first, held by Gonzalo de Quesada (1868-1915) to the impression made ​​by our researchers criticism today.
