JULY 27, 2011, 4:03 P.M. ET. CARACAS, Venezuela (Dow Jones)--Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez will soon start his second round of chemotherapy and "probably" will require a third, the leader said Wednesday, speaking during a televised address.

Chavez, who has significantly cut down his public appearances during his cancer recovery, appeared mostly back to his folksy self, poking fun at speculation over the severity of his health problems and also downplaying any potential for him to step down.
