Cuban First VP Receives Qatar Prime Minister

HAVANA, Cuba, Dec 25 (acn) Cuban First Vice-President Jose Ramon Machado Ventura received Friday afternoon Qatar’s Prime Minister Sheik Hamad Bin Jassem Bin Jabr Al-Thani in the Revolution Palace in Havana city.

Al-Thani, who is in an oficial visit to Cuba, and Machado Ventura spoke of the current status of the relations between the two countries, and ratified their will to strengthen their ties.

During the meeting, both leaders addressed other topics of regional and international interest.

Al-Thani was accompanied by the Qatari ambassador to Cuba Alí Bin Saad Al-Kharji. On the Cuban part were present VP Ricardo Cabrisas Ruiz and Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez.
