Viking Line CEO Mikael Backman welcomed over 500 representatives from Finnish travel agencies and tour operators aboard the MS Grabiella that regularly covers the Helsinki— Mariehamn—Stockholm route, according to sources in the Cuban embassy.

The promotional campaign will start next February and run through several weeks with the performance of six Cuban bands on ships from this company, the first such event in 2011.

Among the Cuban renown orchestras to play in this program are Adalberto Alvarez and his group and Yumuri that will be accompanied by dancers and cigar rollers to make up a 128 person delegation aiming at showing the Cuban tourist products.

Viking Lines had earnings over 450 million Euros this year for transporting over 390,000 passengers and 102,670 vehicles in the ro-ro modality in the Baltic Sea.
