Sonangol Signs Deal With Cuban Oil Company

17 December 2010. Luanda — The Angolan oil company Sonangol Research and Production on 8 December, in Havana, signed a sharing productions contract with Cuban Commercial Cupet S.A, to operate two blocs N23 and N33, in off shore, Angop learnt through a press release issued by Sonangol EP.
The document mentions that the sharing production contract with Cuban oil company was signed by the Angolan Mateus de Brito, Sonangol EP administrator, on behalf of Sonangol Researching and Production, and Rafael Luís Arias Batista, deputy president and director general of Commercial Cupet S.A.
The ceremony was witnessed by the CEO of Sonangol E.P, Manuel Vicente, and other high officials of the Angolan company, as well as members of Cuban government.
