Community Cultural Project in Cuba

An interactive project called "Grown by Culture" takes place in this central Cuban province with the aim of bringing art in all its manifestations to the most remote communities.

Starring by the Company D "Moron Theatre, the initiative is that the group members live for 10 days with local people and become instructors to teach how to conceive a healthy recreation.

One of the objectives of the project is to achieve through dance, music, theater, visual and circus arts, literature and sport, and with local resources to treat social problems in each place.

There are also craft workshops and household supplies made by the housewives of the community with waste and recyclable materials. Specialists from the Center of Promotion and Education for Health give lectures on various topics and diseases that affect humans today.

The project also foresees the presentation of various shows for children, and various street theater, as "Zanquipayasos", "Chaplin in Love", "The Heirs of Time" and "Mud Medea" the latest creation of D "Morón Theater group.
