According to the contest Web site, the two partial odds were the first and fourth, with wins for Cuba, 25-22, and European, 25-20, respectively, as the Dutch won the second and third with identical markers 25-12.

On the Caribbean island team excelled on the offensive, Kenya Carcaces, who accumulated 15 points, Rosanna Giel (10), Rachel Sanchez (6) and Yohana Palacios (6), while European highlighted by Manon Flier (17), Grothers Maret (17) and Ingrid Visser (14).

Both teams were very evenly matched in the number of errors committed and that Cuba and the Netherlands finished with 26 to 25, a challenge which lasted for one hour and 36 minutes.

For the program and schedule of Japan, on Sunday seven Cuba will play Brazil on Monday, nine run into Czech Republic Tuesday, 10 against Italy.

In other results, but the group E and with a stage in Tokyo, beat Turkey 3-0 (25-19, 25-16 and 25-20) to Serbia.
