Posted November 5, 2010 9:25 PM. In Cuba, the "black box" flight data recorder found in the wreckage of a plane, that recently crashed, could help reveal why it fell from the sky.

All 68 people aboard the flight perished, state media reports.The plane was traveling from Santiago de Cuba and heading towards Havana, the country’s capital, state-run website  Cubadebate reported.

Residents in the province of Sancti Spiritus, where the crash occurred, witnessed the plane make several sudden movements, before diving into the ground, Cubadebate says.

The Argentine President, Cristina Kirchner has authorized a plane to Cuba, to retrieve the bodies of the nine Argentineans
aboard the flight, the Telam news agency of Argentina reports.

Of the dead, 40 were from Cuba, nine from Argentina, seven from Mexico, three from the Netherlands, two from Germany, two from Austria and one person each from Spain, France, Italy, Japan and Venezuela.
