Archbishop Thomas Wenski will host a delegation of Roman Catholic leaders from Cuba next week in South Florida, the Archdiocese of Miami said Monday.

The Cuban clergy, led by Bishop Arturo Gonzalez of Santa Clara, will meet with church leaders from Miami and other regions of the United States from Monday through Nov. 11 and celebrate several public Masses.

At 8 p.m. Monday, Wenski will welcome the clergy with a Mass at the Shrine of Our Lady of Charity in Miami. At 7:30 p.m. Nov. 10, Gonzalez and Miami Auxiliary Bishop Felipe Estevez will celebrate Mass at St. Timothy Catholic church in Kendall.

Estevez will also preside over a Mass at 7:30 p.m. Nov. 11 at St. John the Apostle church in Hialeah.

The meeting will follow a high-profile delegation of the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops that Wenski will lead to the Havana area this week. From Wednesday through Saturday, U.S. bishops will be in Cuba to inaugurate the San Carlos and San Ambrosio Seminary, first large Catholic institution to open its doors in five decades in Cuba. Housed on 55 acres, it can house 100 seminarians.
