2010.10.21 - 08:56:44 / [email protected]. HAVANA, CUBA.- Havana’s Saratoga de Cuba Hotel was selected as one of the best 100 in the world, according to the criterion of the prestigious Sunday Times Travel Magazine from Great Britain.

The building, located in Old Havana’s historic area, was one of the seven facilities of its kind in the Caribbean that were included on the list to be published on the magazine’s Special Edition in November.

According to a communique by the department for public relations of HABAGUANEX S.A., the company operating the hotel, the magazine highlights the exquisite design of its interiors, of colonial style, including pictorial works by renowned Cuban artists, which turn the Saratoga into “and event with style.”

Likewise, it extols the incredible view of the city that can be enjoyed from the hotel’s swimming pool and the location of the building, on the corner of Paseo del Prado and Dragones streets, close to places of social, historic and cultural interest, like the National Capitol, the Fraternity Park and Havana’s Grand Theater.

Other publications acknowledge the attractions of this building, like the British Conde Nast Traveller magazine, which has given four mentions to the Saratoga, among them position 16 among the best 100 best hotels in Latin America and the Caribbean.

Inaugurated in 2005, the five-star facility has over 90 rooms, seven of them suites, and a varied offer of services aimed at the satisfaction and comfort of its visitors.
