These shows of the Ballet Laura Alonso, the Prodanza Center, will be dedicated to the Day of Cuban Culture, next October 20; on the 22nd International Ballet Festival of Havana that will begin on October 28; and the 491 anniversary of the foundation of the Village of San Cristobal of Havana.
 
The leading roles will be taken by the young dancers members of the group that promotes the technique of the renowned Cuban School of Ballet.  
 
Created and directed by the Grand Ballet Maître Laura Alonso, Prodanza Center, with more than two decades of history, seeks the progress of the dancer since their beginnings until they reach their professional life, through the teaching of the methodology and technique of the Cuban School of Ballet. Their board of maîtres and professors are integrated by professionals of meritorious work in the world of dance.
 
The Ballet Laura Alonso of Prodanza Center has incorporated different dance styles in its varied repertoire that comprises great classic ballets like Don Quixote, The Nutcracker or The Corsair; those of neoclassicist style like The Three Musketeers; until more contemporary works like Dracula and Dolls. Among their last premieres are found Yarini and The Black Mozart. Their choreographers have created a line that identifies the dancing codes of the company.
 
Prodanza Center returns now to the stage of Mella Theater, with the ballet Dracula, four shows to demonstrate, once again, the professionalism, expressive strength, technical enthusiast, and virtuosity that characterize the young members of that institution, founded by the Grand Maître Laura Alonso whose pedagogic work is well known in the entire international dance environment.
