Cuban singer-songwriter David Torrens will perform next Sunday, October 17 at “Hidalgo” Theater, in the Mexican state of Colima, where he’ll give a free concert.

The show by the young Cuban musician will develop at the 2010 Alfonso Michel Cultural Festival, event organized by the Secretariat of Culture and the National Council for Culture and the Arts (CONACULTA), of the Aztec nation.

This will be the first performance before Colima’s audience by the young musician, very famous in that nation, where he has had greatest hits with his songs “Corazón limosnero”, “Dicen que”, “Ni de aquí ni de allá”, pieces from his most popular phonograms.

Colima’s press evokes the presence of the singer-songwriter who, for several years, developed his professional career in Mexico, and is one of the best exponents of the new promotions of La Nueva Trova (The New Trova) and the contemporary Latin American song.
