Public Rally to Free the Cuban Five, Saturday October 2, 2010, Oak Room, Vanier Hall, University of Windsor, Ontario, Canada

We are honoured to inform you that we will be addressed by Elizabeth Palmeiro,the wife of Ramon Labañino, one of the Cuban Five and Silvia Garcia Tabio,member of the Cuban National Assembly.

September 12 marks the 12th anniversary of the unjust incarceration in U.S.jails of the five Cuban men who were working in the United States to prevent terrorism against Cuba. We feel it is crucial that we raise our voices with the many others who are doing the same at this time to say: This is the year to Free the Five!

In order to make this an international event, we are inviting our partners in Detroit and across the U.S. to join with us in Windsor in calling for the release of the Five by the Obama administration.
