Suggested ideas, stated: everyday man, from its own profiles and visions, then back to the childhood between outlines and backgrounds. Mixing codes and intentions are presented at the Mecenas hall of the Ateneo Dionisio San Román bookshop in Cienfuegos, the painters Irving Torres Barroso and Luis Miguel Rivero García.

A total of six works, three in each case, inserted among them, conform this bi personal exhibition which will be in the mentioned space until the 27 of September. Between the Espejismo del yo, Solaz, Solana and the rest of the title less pieces – at least in an explicit way – is the efforts of the members and executives of the Plastic Arts, Book and Literature provincial centres.

According to the criteria of the specialist Claribel Rosales Delgado, both creators use their ideas "in a solid element which is used as an aesthetic and conceptual support: cement". One of them uses it in its condition of a material in order to achieve "textures that mark the experimentation and give an allegorical strong perspective to his proposal". The other one uses it "as a subjective assumption to give distinctions to the construction workers in this small series which shows the control of the portrait".

Luis Miguel, a graduate from the Benny More Vocational Art School, states about it: "I always link the installations with the pictorial. I prefer to start from a reality; search and assume the same context in so much perfection environment. The idea leads then to languages and symbols. The image of the workers is a constant metaphor in my production". He added that, his exhibited paintings are part of a first official exhibition in the curriculum: Aria.

Irving was in charge of the design of the catalogue acquired by the public. Both authors are the curators of the exhibition.

The opening of Mezclando was part of the program of activities of the Youth festival of Book and Readings. It included the presentation of the cartoon stories Auroria, la gran alianza (Reina del Mar Editores, 2010), by Osvaldo Pestana -Montos- as drawer and the script by Fermín Gerardo Vega. The trio Querella, a special guest from Las Tunas province made the meeting even more enjoyable.

Almost two years ago, the Mecenas Hall of the Ateneo Dionisio San Román Bookshop, became at the same time a gallery and the proper place for several artistic expressions. This was expressed by Ian Rodríguez, director of the Literaria Florentino Morales Centre of Research and Promotion.
