HAVANA, Cuba, Aug 31 (acn) Exactly 45 days after a previous visit to the National Aquarium in Havana, the leader of the Cuban Revolution, Fidel Castro, again visited this facility on Monday.

On this occasion, he was accompanied by American journalist Jeffrey Goldberg, who writes for The Atlantic magazine; academician Julia Sweig, a specialist with the Council on Foreign Relations (CFR); and Adela Dworin, president of the Hebrew Community in Cuba.

Fidel invited his guests to watch the dolphins show at the Aquarium after offering an interview to the US journalist, who is a specialist on topics linked to the Middle East and, particularly, Israel.

The visitors showed their admiration for the high quality of the show and later exchanged ideas with the Cuban leader on topics of international interest.

They recalled Fidel’s visit to the Cuban Hebrew Community on December 20, 1998, and they also referred to an interview given by Fidel to the Mexican newspaper La Jornada published on Monday. In addition, they commented on the launch of his book ‘La Victoria estrátegica’ (The Strategic Victory) in Venezuela and Bolivia.

Fidel gave copies of his book to his guests, images from the National Aquarium and photos of the interview with Goldberg, who also received a baseball cap of the Cuban National Team signed by members of the current pre-selection squad and former stars such as Omar Linares, German Mesa and Orestes Kindelan.
