Magva Balbuena walks on the Hollywood beach Friday, July 23, 2010 looking for a "lucky sea bean" she says are considered
lucky in Cuba, where she is from. Rainy and windy weather are expected as Tropical Storm Bonnie heads through Florida.
Forecasters with the U.S. National Hurricane Center said the center of Bonnie came ashore Friday midday near Cutler Bay,
about 20 miles south of Miami. It then moved back into the eastern Gulf and was about 85 miles (135 kilometers) southwest of Sarasota late Friday.
Bonnie could strengthen as it moves over the Gulf but also could fall apart before reaching land. The storm is moving north-northwest near 17 mph (28 kph).
Forecasters say the storm should reach the northern Gulf Coast Saturday night or early Sunday.
