Raul Castro Receives Dominican President Leonel Fernandez

HAVANA, Cuba, Jul 22 (acn) Cuban President Raul Castro presided over the official welcoming ceremony in Havana to Leonel Fernandez, President of the Dominican Republic.
After the two countries national anthems were played, Raul and Leonel Fernandez reviewed the troops from the ceremonial unit of the General Staff of the Cuban Revolutionary Army Forces.
The two heads of state held official talks after the ceremony with the presence of Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez and his Dominican counterpart Carlos Morales Troncoso.
Leonel Fernandez arrived this Thursday in Cuba for an official visit and delivered in the afternoon a keynote speech at the Aula Magna of Havana’s University.
