Hugo Chavez Will Visit Cuba on July 26

HAVANA, Cuba, Jul 21 (acn) Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez announced on Tuesday that he will travel to Cuba on July 26 to sign several cooperatio agreements with the island.
“We will sign a series of agreements to strengthen our economic unity and complementariness,” said the Venezuelan leader during the graduation ceremony of almost 1,500 new police officers at the Teresa Carreño Theater in Caracas.
He added that the accords will include health and education sectors.
“Thank you, Cuba, for all your support,” Chavez noted and affirmed that both countries are working together as members of the Bolivarian Alliance for the Peoples of the Americas (ALBA), which also includes Nicaragua, Bolivia, Ecuador, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Dominica and Antigua and Barbuda.
