MEXICO CITY, July 11 (Xinhua) -- The Spanish community and fans in Argentina and Cuba celebrated on Sunday the triumph of the Spanish national soccer team, when wining the World Cup 2010 in the final against the Netherlands.

The fans of the Spanish team gathered in places such as the Spanish Club of Buenos Aires to watch the match, and went to the Obelisco to celebrate the triumph.

A Spaniard living in Argentina said "we are the best!" while another one said "luckily there was justice and we are champions for the first time!"

Argentina has the largest number of Spaniards living aboard.

Meanwhile in Cuba, the people for a day left aside their passion for the baseball and celebrated Spain's triumph at the soccer World Cup.

Hundreds of young people wearing the T-shirts of the Spanish club celebrated the triumph, singing and jumping outside the Yara Movie Theater where there were broadcasted all the matches of the World Cup.

Sandra Amaro, a university student said "we suffered, but we won."
