Luanda – The Angolan head of State, José Eduardo dos Santos, Friday in Luanda, separately received the special envoys of his counterparts of Algeria and Cuba, respectively Abdelaziz Buteflika and Raul Castro, who expressed regret for the death of
nationalist Paulo Teixeira Jorge.

Received by Angolan president were the Africa director of Algeria Foreign Ministry, Nor-Eddine Aouan and the member of Cuban Communist Party Politburo, Leopoldo Cintras Frias.

On the occasion, they transmitted to president José Eduardo dos Santos their opinion about the human and political qualities of late Paulo Jorge whose remains were buried last Thursday in Luanda.

According to the Algerian diplomat, Paulo Jorge was a notable freedom fighter and an excellent diplomat not only in Africa but in the world.

To the Cuban ambassador, Paulo Jorge contributed a lot to reinforce relations between Angola and Cuba.

The diplomats came to Angola to participate in the funeral of Angolan nationalist Paulo Teixeira Jorge buried on Thursday in Luanda.
