Cindy Sheehan, who struggles against the US militaristic policy, has sent greetings to the five Cuban antiterrorists incarcerated in that country, and denounced the unjust way in which they’re kept in jail.

The mother of a soldier who died during Washington´s invasion of Iraq, Sheehan raised her fist as a sign of struggle and victory to wave at Gerardo Hernandez, Ramon Labañino, Rene Gonzalez, Antonio Guerrero and Fernando Gonzalez.

She sent greetings to The Five and expressed her appreciation for their bravery as well as that of her their relatives.

According to a note published on Monday by the Cubadebate web site, the US pacifist regretted the so many people her country puts in jail in an unfair way.

In reference to The Five, she said that there are many people struggling for their release from prison, and also sent greetings to the mothers and wives of the incarcerated Cuban heroes.

Sheehan, who recently spoke in Caracas at the Forum Empire in Decadence, is a US anti-war activist that has been arrested over a dozen times since the days of George W. Bush, for heading protests against war.

Her stance is still the same, since she has continued her struggle against the administration of Barack Obama, whom she says betrayed US citizens who believed in his electoral promises.

The Five have been imprisoned since September 12, 1998, in the United States, where they’re serving long and undeserved sentences after a trial filled with irregularities, held in Miami.
