Don quijoteballet
The National Ballet of Cuba, under the direction of Alicia Alonso, will travel late this month to one of its main international sites, Mexico, specifically to Mexico City, to present one of the great classics of the repertoire: Don Quixote.  
 
This is the entire version of the famed ballet, with choreography of Alicia Alonso, Marta Garcia, and Maria Elena Llorente that will be tarred by the first dancers Viengsay Valdes and Elier Bourzac (February 26), and Anette Delgado and Javier Torres (27).   

The shows will have a historical scenario as venue: the cathedral square of the Yucatan city.
   
While, another cast of the company will continue the cultural exchanges with the Juvenile Ballet of Hamilton, when they perform in the Hamilton Place Theater, on Friday 26, at 7:30 p.m. with Hansel and Gretel, ballet in one act with choreography of Eduardo Blanco, based on the story of the Brothers Grimm.   
 
This presentation will have in the starring roles Marlen Fuerte, Regina Hernandez, Annie Ruiz, Denisse Salvent, Yonah Acosta, and Yadil Suarez.
