Camagüey will host the 4th Symposium on cities that have been designated humankind´s heritage sites next year.

The meeting, which will be held under the slogan "Challenges to Handle and Manage Cities", will be sponsored by the local government, the Office of the Historian of the City of Camagüey and the Spanish International Cooperation Agency.

Experts from Cuba, Mexico, Spain and Argentina have confirmed participation in the meeting, in which they will expound their experiences regarding the preservation of heritage sites.

They will also explain the actions for which their respective cities were designated humankind’s heritage sites.
