After the concert offered by the US band Kool and The Gang, at the José Martí Anti-Imperialist Tribune, there has been a growing interest of different representatives of foreign artists to offer their art in Cuba.

The president of the Cuban Music Institute, Abel Acosta assured that it was a wonderful exchange the one that took place between that US band and the Cuban people who went in numbers close to 100 thousand people to the recital.

The Puerto Rican duet has been expressing for several weeks their desire to participate in Cuba in a Concert for the young people of our country and it was known that they were close to coming to the recently concluded New Latin American Movie Festival.

The criminal blockade of the US government to Cuba has prevented important personalities from the world of art, sciences, musicians and other professionals from visiting the country for cultural exchange purposes and all sort of exchanges, something which is being achieved step by step.
