The exhibition “Habana Mía” (My Havana) by Cuban visual artist Ileana Mulet is being presented at the Museo de Arte Colonial (Colonial Arts Museum) (San Ignacio No. 61, Habana Vieja) from last December 15th to January 30th, 2010.
In love with the city’s landscapes, the artist takes us in an urban tour through 10 big format pieces that reveal a fascinating major city in blue and ochre.
Her paintings harmonize space, time and colour, reflecting the warmth that illuminates her landscapes and the burning fire of her brushstrokes he exhibit serves as the culmination of activities for the 40th anniversary of the Museo de Arte Colonial.
