Two of the greatest concerts of all times were enjoyed in the End of Year Concert which was offered by the López Gavilán Junco family together with the National Symphonic Orchestra.

The Concert No. 1 for piano and orchestra by Tchaikovsky, was interpreted by the piano player Aldo López Gavilán Junco; and the Concert in Re Major by Brahms for violin and orchestra was interpreted by Ilmar López Gavilán Junco.

This award winning Cuban musicians have recently been performed together with so very important artists such as Claudio Abbado and Isaac Perlman.

Professor Guido López Gavilán was in charge of conducting the National Symphonic Orchestra.

This special concert was dedicated to the famous piano player and pedagogue Teresita Junco and it took place at the Amadeo Roldán Auditorium Theatre last December 27 at 5 o’clock in the afternoon.
